From obtuse angles to intense physicality, Peder Mannerfelt’s highly individual take on techno demands attention and consideration. While his many-sided body of work reaches back more than a decade, the Swedish producer’s current investigations in the field of experimental dance music are as prolific as they are Unpredictable.
The mysterious British producer has reshaped an already bearded and rich British electronic music tradition over the past three years. Albeit his anonymity, his hypnotic and raveish electro mesh sets, had brought him on the lineups of (in)famous Fabric club in London and Berlin's Tresor club as one of the freshest names on the electronic music club scene.
Love, Fist, Tears. A very appropriate name for a producer, who is becoming one of the main acts of electro music club scene, just like Helena Hauff was ten years ago. His sound takes you from EBM and electro to wave genre. He is a resident of the cult Hamburg club Golden Pudl, where he regularly plays alongside Helena. His act consists of playing hard tunes live on his machinery and vokoder or he mixes dirty electro vinyls on dark boutique festivals such as Greek CHAOS. His resume also includes KHIDI, Tresor and Berghain.
